The IC Gate, short for Integrated Circuit Gate, is a logic gate with a variable number of inputs and outputs.

Obtaining

To obtain the IC gate, you must bind an IC Blueprint to an IC Chip using an IC Printer. To get the gate itself, surround that chip with circuit plates in a crafting table, as shown below.

Usage

I/O

The IC gate's inputs and outputs are determined by the schematic on its chip. It is capable of accepting all three kinds of signals: Basic, Analog, and Bundled. Basic inputs simply detect if the input is on or off, while analog inputs detect the signal's strength. Both accept red alloy wire and insulated red alloy wire signals. Bundled inputs accept the "colored" signals from bundled cables.

Logic

The logic of the gate is again determined by the chip that is used in its crafting. The internals of the IC Gate are constructed out of various wires, and any of the combinatorial logic gates. See this for more information. Through the combination of these things, a vast number of possible logical gates can be constructed.
